• MachineMinder is a Pinspotter/Pinsetter safety system, totally separate from, and not connected to LaneMinder
• MachineMinder looks after the machines themselves with an IR beam across the front of each machine pair connected to a MachineMinder Cutout-2 Module that in turn is connected to both machines of a pair and will turn them off when the IR beam detects an intrusion
• The MachineMinder Cutout-2 Kit is an important step in the ultimate compliance with the AS4024 Australian machine safety standard. Further steps to full compliance will include machine guards and interlock switches as well as total mains power isolation when an E-Stop or machine intrusion event is detected
• Note: A guard preventing entry to the area between the mask units and the machines from the machine side, and a guard preventing a person from moving (or extending a limb) sideways from machine to machine behind the mask units will also be required for safety if these are not already in place

A MachineMinder Basic kit for a pair of lanes consists of:

• 1 x MachineMinder Cutout-2 Module
• 1 x IR Transmitter/Receiver
• 1 x IR Junction Module
• 1 x High Quality Reflector
• 1 x Cat-5 cable 4m
• 1 x IR Bracket Assembly (for multiple lanes, less than one per pair may be required)
• 1 x Reflector Bracket Assembly (for multiple lanes, less than one per pair may be required)

24VDC Power Supply is also required - one or more depending on number of lanes and layout

An Interface Kit for each machine or pair of machines is also required

MachineMinder Cutout-2 Module mounted on curtain wall - monitors infra-red (IR) beam and signals Pinspotter or Pinsetter pair to shut down when intrusion is detected

Green (steady) LED indicates "all ok"

Blue (flashing) LED indicates that an intrustion has been detected

Red (flashing) LED indicates that a remote E-Stop or Panic Button (if fitted) has been activated
